I was born on November 1st and I will be ready for my forever home on December 27th! I have been family raised on a farm in the country around children. I have had my shots and de-wormers. Cocker Spaniel

This gorgeous companion breed is sweet, affectionate, and loyal.  The Cocker Spaniel came to the United States in the 1870s from Spain, and the word spaniel means, “Spanish dog.” The Cocker Spaniel breed is very adaptable and can live in apartments, condos, and small houses.  They are excellent for new dog owners, but are very sensitive and do not do well being alone.  This playful, snuggly, and tender breed does great with children, other dogs, and even strangers. The Cocker Spaniel is in the Sporting Dog Breed Group, and is the smallest breed in that group.  They are usually 14-15 inches high, typically weigh 24-28 pounds, and generally have a lifespan of 12-15 years.

Mini Australian Shepherd! 

Australian Shepherds, bred initially to herd livestock and be work dogs, have maintained their energetic nature and are happiest when given a task and being played with. These dogs are very intelligent and thrive when performing activities and love to learn new tricks and games. They are easy to train and highly intelligent, but do have a tendency to bark or howl, and use their mouth to communicate by chewing or play-biting, and for this reason usually enjoy activities such as fetch. Aussies are prone to explore and have very high energy needs. Because of their tendency to roam it is important to ensure they have secure fencing, electric fencing does not work for this breed. These dogs are happy to take commands and will be excited to play with you!

Those big eyes just really get to me, they are so soft and full of love.  Spaniels are sensitive souls with big hearts and are eager to please.   Angus is  doing really well with the other puppies and is not a bully at food time.  I can just raise my voice and he perks up and takes note of my tone of voice, he really is on point with obedience in my book.  I do love playing with his ears, they are as soft as velvet and he loves it when I do that.  He is looking for a loving home with a comfortable place to lounge and relax.
