Look at me! I am a Mini Schnauzer puppy! My Mom is Dixie and my Dad is Sarge. I was born on August 25th and I will be ready for my forever home on October 23rd! I have been family raised on a mini farm in the country around children. I have had my shots and de-wormers. I will be checked by a veterinarian and microchipped. For more information or to schedule a visit with me, please contact Catherine Monday through Saturday. All Sunday calls will be returned on Monday.
I will come with my vet and shot/dewormer records, some of my current food and a 1 year genetic guarantee.
We would be happy to help you with setting up transportation and shipping of your puppy if needed at an additional cost.
The Miniature Schnauzer is one of the 20 most sought-after breeds in the United States, England, and Germany. They are very adaptable and can live anywhere, as well as with all age groups. The breed does well with children when they grow up together. A child’s energy matches the exuberance and playfulness of this breed. The Miniature Schnauzer was initially bred to hunt rodents on farms as well as guard the land. They still seem to have that innate tendency to stalk small animals such as gerbils, hamsters, and other small creatures. Therefore if your child does have a small pet the breed’s hunting tendency will need to be taken into account. The Miniature Schnauzer originated in Germany and was descended from the Standard Schnauzer and Affenpinscher. The name “schnauzer,” comes from the German word, “schnauze” meaning snout or muzzle. The Miniature Schnauzer has a distinguished appearance with its unique bearded face, bushy eyebrows, and upright, floppy ears. They are very intelligent, friendly, loyal, and affectionate. They are typically 12-14 inches high, usually weigh anywhere from 8-20 pounds, and generally have a lifespan of 12-15 years.
