Becoming a Puppy Seller
To list your puppies for sale, you'll need to start by creating your user account, and then have it upgraded to a seller account. You'll then fill out your seller profile to give people information about when and how to contact you when they're interested in buying your puppies.
You'll be asked to provide important information:
- name
- address
- phone number
- email address
- best time to call
- directions to your location
to make sure that potential buyers know where to go to pick up their puppies.
Adding Contacts to Your Seller Profile
As a seller, you will be free to add as many contacts as you would like to your account. Then, you can choose whichever location or phone number is applicable for each puppy you list froma dropdown menu.
As an added bonus, contacts can be reordered by dragging and dropping them on the seller profile edit page. Whichever contact is listed at the top will be displayed as your "Main Contact" on your seller profile page. The other contact sets will not be displayed on your profile page, but only on listings which use those contacts.
What to Put in Your Seller Profile
The more informative your seller profile is, the better! Here are some key things you may want to include in your profile:
- Pictures of you and your puppies, or your facility. Buyers will love seeing a glimpse into their future puppy's life!
- Information about you, like how long you have been raising puppies and why you chose to raise that breed.
- Some insight into how you train your puppies and care for them until they are adopted.
Fast, Simple, and Secure
The seller profile system keeps listing and updating puppies simpler, as well as locks down the contact information of the puppy ads - one of the methods phishers used to manipulate users.
When deleting a contact from your seller profile, you will be guided through a process to replace the reference to that contact item on any listings that exist so that every one of your listings has up to date contact information.
