Meet Verity Farm's "Valor". He is a purebred Maremma Sheepdog. He is from a true working line of livestock guardian dogs (LGD). Valor is a sweetheart. He is generally very calm. He enjoys attention and has wonderful eye contact. He is content in most all situations. He never complains when he dislikes something. He is not very affected or afraid of new or startling situations. He does well with manding (when called, he will approach you by sitting at your feet and looking up at you, giving eye contact, rather than jumping or biting), as well as with different puppy culture activities. He doesn't like to wrestle or play vigorously as much as the other puppies. He is more calm, devoted, and loyal. He was born on April 23rd, 2025. He will be able to go to his new home July 2nd. They are also trained with children, and livestock. They are all fed a raw food diet which studies show provides the best quality of life and longevity. Maremma's are known for their low prey drive. They are also known to have lower energy. They are smaller to handle than a Great Pyrenees. Their fur is easier to take care of. They are a rare breed in the United States, but we would never want another breed guarding our livestock. They will also be wonderful for guarding your home, children, animals, and family. Meet Verity Farm's "Zion". He is a purebred Maremma Sheepdog. He is from a true working line of livestock guardian dogs (LGD). Zion is a little more independent than some of the other puppies. He is very smart and does the different activities easily. He does very well with manding (approaching you when called and sitting and giving you eye contact, rather than jumping on you or biting on you). He is not very affected by new or slightly scary situations that he is placed in. He is calm and easy to handle. His gentle eye contact demonstrates his loyalty and his love for his people and animals he is guarding. He is loving and also not very needy. He would do great on a farm where he gets some attention, but he does not require attention to be happy. He is an easy-going sweet boy. He was born on April 23rd, 2025. Meet Verity Farm's "Ransom". He is a purebred Maremma Sheepdog. He is from a true working line of livestock guardian dogs (LGD). Ransom is 5 weeks. He is extremely well-rounded. He is not afraid of new situations. He loves to have attention and be near us, but also likes some alone time. He does wonderful on every activity or challenge we introduce him to. He is very easy to handle for grooming and care. He does not appear fearful or timid. He is always fully engaged during training. He is doing excellent with manding (sitting and giving us eye contact when he approaches us, rather than jumping on us our biting us). He has a very loyal demeanor. He approaches every obstacle with confidence. He rarely complains about anything we ask him to to and is overall very content in all things asked of him. He was born on April 23rd, 2025.
