Hi! We moved to VA from SC and started a small family homestead. I actually closed down my grooming shop and sold a DiY Dog wash to raise my family in the Appalachian mountains. We love it, but God has a funny way of working and has brought me rescue dogs which led to the realization that there is a bigger problem in the country with unfixed dogs than any other place. I felt led to rescue two females dogs while starting our journey, one which was pregnant, a Great Pyrenees(Liberty) and another that is a pure bred St Bernard (Holly) who was coincidentally not spayed and went into heat shortly after was dropped off. They have both been wonderful additions to our family. I know! Who would let go of a dog like that! She's beautiful, smart, loving... need I say more? (Just don't leave fresh butter out on the counter, LoL) In recognizing there is a problem here, I also started a DiY Dog wash(kick'n Grass DiY), my hopes are with the expense of groomers, this may help lessen the burden of dog maintenance to help provide a solution to keep dogs out of shelters! I am here to find puppies good homes, support shelters and help people find one of a kind companions, God bless.
