I grew up on a dairy farm milking cows, tending to chickens and playing with dogs. We always had two dogs on our farm. My father would raise a litter now and again for us children to enjoy.  I was an animal lover ever since. It was always a dream of mine to have a golden retriever.  That dream came true a few years ago when a friend of mine had a litter. I bought one. Since the standard was set at a young age to have two dogs instead of one, I bought another puppy a few years later.  I now raise a litter or two a year to scratch that puppy itch:) I love playing with them and seeing them explore the world. They are currently be raised on a plot of land in the country. They have room to explore and discover the garden:/.
